Emerald Avant is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a strong clinical background and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Emerald earned her Practical Nursing Diploma from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in 2021, where she developed a solid foundation in nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, and patient care techniques.

Since becoming licensed, Emerald has gained 4 years of hands-on experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, hospitals and primary care clinics. She is skilled in medication administration, wound care, charting using electronic medical records (EMR), and supporting patients with chronic and acute conditions.

Known for her calm demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to build trusting relationships with patients and families, Emerald is committed to promoting dignity, safety, and healing. She remains dedicated to professional growth through continuing education and evidence-based practice.

Currently, Emerald is pursuing her RN and additional certifications to further enhance clinical skills.
